The 440th Aircraft Maintenance Group (440AMG), Air Education and Training Command (AETC), Philippine Air Force, successfully conducted its 1st Quarter Safety Meeting on 27 February 2026 at Hangar A, Fernando Air Base, Lipa City, Batangas.
The activity commenced with the arrival of the Presiding Officer, followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem and an invocation. The program included the welcome remarks of 1LT VINCENT ANTHONY B BRENDIA PAF, Assistant Group Safety Officer, 440AMG.
Key highlights of the meeting included lectures on Operational Stress Management and Mental Health Awareness, the latest Service Bulletin, and Safety Lessons Learned—further reinforcing the Group’s commitment to operational excellence and personnel well-being.
The Group likewise recognized the Subject Matter Experts who shared their invaluable knowledge and expertise. Certificates of Appreciation were personally awarded by LTC RYAN JOSEPH L MAGBOJOS PAF, Deputy Group Commander, 440AMG. In his message, LTC MAGBOJOS PAF emphasized the critical role of safety consciousness, discipline, and proactive risk management in the successful accomplishment of the unit’s mission.
